Transco Neon Sign Transformer Power Supply 120V/12000V TESLA COIL COMPATIBLE!!.
My first assumption when I hear from people looking for neon transformers is that they're wanting to build a Tesla Coil or Jacob's Ladder being that the sign industry is almost completely LED now. And that I've sold these transformers to five different hobbyists building these devices, one of them multiple times. I'll also assume you probably already know this is the kind of transformer you need, i.e. one without the ground fault reset switch and that they're getting harder to find?
I've tested this transformer and it still operates like new. It throws strong arcs from the electrodes and appears to have plenty of life left.
I think it goes without saying that this can be a
VERY
dangerous device if it is misused or is handled improperly. Especially if you don't know the proper usage and procedure of this (or any other) electrical device. Buyer acknowledges that I am not in any way responsible for personal injuries, damage of property or deaths if item is mishandled.
