Romney wool roving for spinning, felting, knitting, crocheting, fiber arts.
10.5 oz natural roving
This lite silver gray roving is from Buddy a marsh romney sheep
with a faded gray fleece.  When Buddy is sheared his fleece is a dark gray
next to his skin
but thru the year it fades to a white gray.
This is Buddy
’s natural color and is not dyed.
It was rinsed in a 1/2 cup of vinegar to neutralize the soap in the fleece.
His fleece was sent to a mill in Texas to be processed into roving.
