    Description

    This is an all cast brass pencil shaver from 1904.  It is named “The Little Shaver”.  The patent date is on the bottom label of March 29,1904 (See attached picture).  It is used by moving the blade holder up and down to shave the wood and lead until the desired point is achieved.  The base measures approximately 3.25 inches in diameter.
