The Romney traces its beginning to the marshy area of Kent in England. Its origin lies with the old, established dual purpose Romney Marsh breed which was improved with Leicester blood in the nineteenth century.
This fiber is from the Kent and Romney breeds and is one of the finest and softest English specialty-breed lambs wools available. Wonderfully soft and an absolute joy to work with!!
