On November 29, 1998, decades after his chart busting success, Harry Wayne Casey became the subject of a VH1: “Behind the Music” aired biography special. It was extremely popular and was followed by the VH1 commercial release of the tribute cd of these well crafted, infectious songs, though with little to do with the bio special. The KC & the Sunshine Band ‘BTM’ biography was a real treat. Up for auction is the ultra-rare commemorative special tribute to KC & the S.B. After the VH1 broadcast, the legendary bio was never made available on tape or dvd. Only the limited commemorative ‘tribute’- release. I still kick back and enjoy the special. What a great biography it was- full of interesting facts, stories and behind the scenes info. Just a great commemorative tribute. And now, this is a great way for old and new fans alike to remember KC & the Sunshine Band.
