Power Transformer coating / binding tape
Amide-modified Mylar heat-shrinking tape used for inter-winding insulation and outer covering of toroidal transformers.
Look at a toroid transformer; That stuff on the outside? That's not scotch tape - It's THIS tape.
5 mil thickness (0.125mm)
2.8KV breakdown voltage per layer.
Heat - shrinks by 20% to form a tightly moulded jacket over transformer windings
0.75" wide  x 40 yards per roll
On elongated rectangular core, to pass through a 2.7" window opening.
Made in USA
Can also be used as a base coat over the core, before applying the wire.
This tape is not adhesive -  It requires  a good quality adhesive tape to secure the start and end points.
Most clear adhesive tapes made by 3M will be suitable.
Material shrinks to final size by heating to 320 deg F ( 160 deg C ) for 1 hour. Conventional oven can be used.
40 yard length  can go around an average 500VA core 3-4 times with 50% overlap
