This is a brand new book of photos from the 2017 film DARKEST HOUR, directed by Joe Wright and starring Gary Oldman in his Oscar winning performance as Winston Churchill, Liliy James, Kristen Scott Thomas and more. The film also won the Oscar for Best Achievement in Makeup and Hair Styling.
The softcover book contains over 175 pages of color photographs by Gisele Schmidt, Gary Oldman's wife, depicting the behind the scenes making of the film. Gary Oldman's signature is in black sharpie, over the photo of him as Churchill at the beginning of the book. The book measures 8" x 11", with glossy pages and a glossy heavy weight cover.
This is a remarkable rare companion to the film, sent to members of the press to promote the film - not sold in stores. It is in mint condition, only opened for photos, binding intact.
