Corriedale/Romney Raw Wool Fleece 7# 3.5" Staple White Spinner's Dream Felting

Description

This sheep, Primrose, is a 2 year old ewe and is 3/4 Corriedale and 1/4 Romney. Her fleece has the Corriedale characteristics of very tight crimp and super soft yarn if not spun too tightly.
A spinners dream with this fleece. This fleece was sheared in 2023 and was stored in a sealed plastic container.
This fleece has been roughly skirted so it does still contain some hay pieces. It is yellowish from lanolin, but gentle washing with dawn dish soap and it comes out a beautiful white (see last picture for a piece of the fleece that was washed with a piece of white paper and the unwashed fleece for comparison)
