    Description

5.25" De Rijn Leiderdorp Dutch Holland Pottery 3 Sided Blue Triangle Sauce Bowl
Up for sale is a handsome, vintage De Rijn Leiderdorp dutch pottery 3 sided triangle or pie slice shaped bowl with a pour spout.  It's 5.25" at its longest and 4.5" at its widest.  It's cobalt blue on the sides with a cream inside with hints of brown and purple.  There's some crazing in glaze on inside of the bowl.  This is in nice condition.  There's one spot just below and slightly on the rim where there's a natural flaw from the crafting.  I think it was likely a bubble but the glaze has flaked at that spot.  It's very minor and again, I think from crafting and not damage.
I purchased this at an estate auction and am uncertain of its age but a helpful eBayer sent me this info:
Leiderdorp is my dad’s birthplace, a town just outside Leiden (the two have now grown into one urban space), and it is located along the Oude Rijn (“Old Rhine”), one of the smaller channels of the many-branched Rhine delta. It’s about 20 mins by car from the coast. De Rijn Pottery was an art pottery producer active between about 1926 and 1942, producing pieces in modernist & Art Deco styles.
*Please note that my shipping time is up to 5 business days as I have multiple jobs and can only ship one day a week.  If you happen to purchase after I return from the post office on shipping day it will be a full week wait until I am able to ship again.  But most people will have a much shorter wait and some will have very fast shipping.  No one will have to wait more than 5 business days.  Thank you for understanding.
