What types of felting needles we provide?
Generally, the felting needles are divided into three different forms: triangle, star and spiral. Our needle felting needles set provides the most widely used one, triangular. This is the needle used most often and recommended for beginners. It’s a kind of 3-sided needle, creating a triangular tip, and there are barbs on each side.
How do needle felting needles work?
The surface of wool is not smooth. If you put the wool under a microscope, you will find that the surface of the wool is similar to scales. Barbs along the felting needle works to pull wool down and leave them there. This allows us to stab the wool and make them together. With stab more and more, the wool would form a specific shape.
