1937 American Police Jiu-Jitsu Training Book Vintage NICE PICTURES S J Jorgensen
This is a fun rare and collectable book, especially in this great of condition. This was provided to some American policemen as part of their training for martial arts combat on the job. This book appears to have been used very lightly.
The cover a little heavier than a regular paperback, but not much. It is embossed with a really neat pattern that you can see in the picture of the back. This pattern is on the front too, but did not show up well in the first few pictures. Cover graphics are worn slightly, but are very clear. There is a serial # on the inside cover as pictured. It measures about 5.5" x 3.25". There are 109 pages and every other page is a picture demonstrating a procedure or graphic. It's a great little piece of history.
