    Description

    Up for auction is a very nice 1836 capped bust half dollar. Using the fifth edition of Don Parsley's Overton guide to US Early Half Dollar Varieties, and Glenn Peterson's Guide to Attributing Bust Half Dollars, I've determined this coin to be O-105, an R4. I would grade this coin as a strong XF  but look at the photos and make your own decision. This coin is original showing no hairlines.This is a no reserve auction so bid accordingly and have fun.
