    Description

    Up for auction is a very nice 1835 capped bust half dollar. Using the fifth edition of Don Parsley's Overton guide to US Early Half Dollar Varieties, and Glenn Peterson's Guide to Attributing Bust Half Dollars, I've determined this coin to be O-109. This is an R-2 which in rarity rating is considered somewhat uncommon. It is graded by ICG as a AU50 details due to cleaning at the date which is minimal and hard to see. It is otherwise original. This is a no reserve auction so bid accordingly and have fun. I have other bust half dollars up for auction, so be sure to take a look.
