1812 Capped Bust Half Dollar, Very Fine.
A nice problem free example. Also an example of the necessity to sometimes use “voodoo” to grade this series.
This makes Very Fine as a Net grade, as the Obverse is a bit weak from the conventional standpoint used to grade the series, while the Reverse is a Choice VF!
A similar looking coin certified as an NGC VF sold in a recent name-brand auction for 5, so I feel confident that this would certify similarly, not that I think this coin needs to be stuck in a “tombstone”.  I am happy to combine shipping for multiple items – for best service please use the ebay Shopping Cart feature and ASK FOR A COMBINED INVOICE before payment, or contact me for a quote.  1226-03
